The whole concept of ‘urban backyard wedding’ is already pretty unique in itself—you get the best of both the modern vibe and the gorgeous garden setting. But Kismet & Clover took it all up a notch when they opted for a brunch menu too. Not only is it totally up our alley, it shows the softest, loveliest side of brunch too. Thanks to Corrina Walker Photography for sharing!
When planning this shoot, we had nothing but the urban bride in mind that wants a wedding that is anything but conventional. We wanted to showcase how one can achieve a wedding that is simple and intimate, without lacking in sophistication, details and creativity… Right outside your very own back door!
Loved that these guys chose to show how romantic a non-evening wedding can be too.
Not one detail was overlooked, from the French linen to hand-woven chargers, from the locally baked brunch sweets (hello, mini blueberry and basil compote pancake stacks!) to the modern and clean lined stationery. We incorporated a lot of different textures in various shades and tones of French grey, blues, peaches, creams and whites. A lot of our inspiration was drawn from French linens, mat surfaces, handcrafted pottery and touches of metallic accents.
Such a beautiful note to start the weekend on, don’t you think? Thanks to everyone below for making it happen!
