Just a few highlights of Patrizia + Roberto’s Lake Como wedding at Villa Geno in Italy: amazing food, a laidback vibe for their 90 guests, and of course, tons of bohemian details like this hanging eucalyptus installation above the reception tables. Thanks to Irene Fucci for sharing the photos!
Irene explains, Patrizia and Roberto’s wedding has a special place in my heart. They asked me to be their wedding photographer because their instinct asked for that, or at least this is what Patrizia told me. And I couldn’t be more grateful. They had this vision of an informal wedding filled with colors and flowers, and they came right from Switzerland to celebrate their love
King protea lovers, are you pinning this beauty right now? The bride’s bouquet was filled with protea, amaranthus, orchid, eucalyptus, and wildflowers from the countryside near Como.
P + R had the wedding ceremony in a nearby city hall, then made their way to the gorgeous venue afterward, so one of their fave moments was arriving to see the reception space.
In lieu of a traditional guest books, they had guests write messages on terracotta pieces.
And did we mention the cheese bar? Yum.
Benevent was behind the event planning + design and they enlisted Cip Garden on the florals for their Lake Como wedding. So pretty! Find more bohemian wedding inspiration in P + R’s gallery below:
With the help of Elena + Anna at Benevent, they were able to plan everything smoothly in 8 months, including finding the talented Irene Fucci to document the day. Congrats, guys!
