Guys, isn’t this paper flower wall such a neat party backdrop? All of studio + event space Studio Milk is adorned in creative, minimal design that lends itself perfect to workshops like this one from calligrapher Stephanie B. Design. As you’ll see in the photos Emily Blumberg shared, the whole modern brunch vibe could really inspire any creative event you and your pals have on the books.

Rosé all around, check.

Since this was Stephanie B. Design’s first workshop, the team wanted the space to reflect their brand and aesthetic. Stephanie explains, Studio Milk was the perfect space—white and bright with big windows, lots of natural light, and chic, stylish touches. We used the gorgeous marbled ceilings as inspiration for the paper goods distributed to each one of our attendees. Fun little bud vases were the perfect touch of soft, muted color to complement the clean black and white patterns and textures throughout the studio.

The beginner’s workshop introduces Steph’s favorite supplies, covers basic skills, and teaches a modern approach to pointed pen calligraphy.

Drinks, decor, and a few well-placed florals by Floral & Bloom made the scene seem more like a fun brunch outing with friends. Our kinda class!

No two calligraphers are the same, so our workshop not only taught basic script letterforms, but also provided students with the skills to start developing their own personal calligraphy style. They left with everything they needed to continue their practice. The workshop was very hands-on, with personalized instruction and attention to each attendee.
