We gotta admit, some of our very fave weddings here on 100LC have been those of the DIY variety. Weddings really are all about personalization, and there’s no better way to share a little slice of your life with all your guests than adding a touch of handmade to your wedding ceremony. Once we got the chance to work with Brother on the P-touch Embellish Ribbon & Tape Printer, we pretty much *had* to whip up one of our own creations with it. (We do have a fresh new space for getting crafty in, after all.) It’s a label printer specifically for embellishing ribbons and tape, hello!
So we’ve got two easy DIYs for ya, a ribbon wand and a hoop wreath, that would look sooo, so sweet alongside a cutie flower girl, in our opinions! Take a peek:

We used the P-touch Embellish Ribbon & Tape Printer for both of these DIY projects, and it was so fun. You can use this handy tool to personalize ribbon and tape, choosing from 14 fonts, more than 90 borders, more than 400 symbols, and 25 patterns. It prints continuous patterns + repeating text, and there are also lots of templates included to choose from.

You can even preview the print beforehand, so the whole process is really simple but still unique.

Loved printing out patterns and simple phrases like, Happily Ever After! Easy peasy, my friends.

We were inspired by some of the amazing fresh flower hoops and wreaths in our recent weddings and thought the text and patterns would be a neat way to create a little extra personalization. With 5 satin ribbons, 9 pattern tapes and 3 pastel tapes, you can imagine the possibilities for wedding favors, too, no? It would be super fun to use the P-touch Embellish for your wedding and keep it on hand for gift wrapping and crafting later on, obv. (Don’t get us started on holiday gifting…)

Just a little something to jazz up those ribbons, ya know? So many possibilities.
