If a big, colorful balloon bouquet, hot pink jumpsuit, and a furry friend altogether in one shot don’t scream fun to you—well, we kiiinda don’t know what will. The talented lady biz-owners behind Forrest and J., Party Crush Events, and Mary Costa Photo hooked up to bring us these whimsical, modern party ideas to life at one of LA’s most vibrant venues: The Fig House. And fun really is quite an understatement here, we think:
The entire space was decked out with spectacularly colorful florals by The Bloemist.
Jenny of Forrest and J says, My dear friend Jessica, the creator and owner of Party Crush Events, is seriously major girl goals and one of the most inspirational and positive lights I’ve had the privilege to know. Our story of friendship began with my very first event! Jessica was the first person I met in this industry and took a chance on hiring Forrest and J as a new company with no portfolio. She’s my real life Party Godmother! We instantly became ‘event soul mates’ and stared texting each other about new ideas and parties on the daily! Years later this girl is my soundboard, my biggest cheerleader, and overall the biggest girl boss I look up to.
So when she had a vision to re-brand herself into Party Crush and asked Moi to help I knew it had to be epic! So many incredible partners came together for this talented lady. Mary Costa agreed to capture her vision and my designer heart literally skipped a beat! Nicole from The Bloemist created florals + Rachel of Bonjour Fete was our party style guru with all her fun props and balloons.
Midnight Confetti upped the modern design factor with her laser cut table details.Naturally all the colors had to complement the iconic Fig House and all its hip, artistic decor.
Jessica of Party Crush Events, on the inspiration behind her shoot… I began as a self-taught chef who grew from owning and operating my own catering business to a full service event planning company. I am a doer, a dreamer and a creative. I am a bright and happy person with a zest for life and all of its little pleasures. I say that I love my job at least once a day and I really mean it. How lucky am I to step in to people’s lives at the most important times. My branding shoot is a bright colorful nod to my joyful personality, my out of the box thinking and my love of all things whimsical… Taking pictures with Jemima Puddleduck was, hands down, my favorite part of the day! Even though she was a bit of a diva duck…. I adored her!
We can only imagine what a day-maker it would be to shoot with all the cute creatures from Little Horse on the Prairie.

Any biz that’s all about color, creativity, and absolute JOY is a total win in our books. Congrats to Jessica on the new endeavor!
