Okay, isn’t this ‘morning paper’ wedding program idea the cutest for a colorful sunrise ceremony? This glamping elopement inspo coming to us from A Family Affair of Maine and Jamie Mercurio Photography is perfect for our fun, laidback couples planning a summer wedding. It all begins with a sunrise ceremony at The William Allen Farm in Maine…

The day’s festivities are detailed in this newspaper program designed by The Chatty Press. It includes the couple’s love story, details on the ceremony and brunch, and lists of fun things to do in the area.

Cutest glamping tent!

They go along with these playful invites and circular menus.

A low table with cushion seating features intensely colored floral centerpieces, mixed-patterned linens, and minimalist flat- and serve-ware that hint at Scandinavian design. Also part of the table design are numerous hand-crafted details that contribute to the personal feel of the shoot: Each leather napkin ring is embossed with a guest’s name and doubles as a place card. Favors—jars of Maine Strawberry Preserves—have adorable custom sticker labels. A simple bottle of water is elevated when inscribed with Julia Child’s words, “People who love to eat are always the best people.” Circular menus are set atop the napkins and also serve as drink coasters embellished with the bride and groom’s initials when turned over.

An intimate, casual brunch lobster bake by Fire & Co. follows their sunrise ceremony at the farm.

On the menu at this shoot were choices like berry + watermelon salad, wood-smoked lobster and corn on the cob, and fire-roasted summer berries + biscuits with balsamic sugar glaze. Intricate, hand-decorated sugar cookies with delicate flowers that matched the décor added a feminine accent to the table. To drink was a signature cocktail we called, “Sunday in Maine,” a bloody Mary with a coastal twist (read: smoked lobster claw for garnish).

Michelle of Minka Flowers adorned the bride and venue with colorful summer blooms.
