When we think of the ultimate destination wedding, we think of one that whisks us (and all our closest pals) away to a special place we either long to get back to or have yet to explore. This year, it seems like Morocco is that destination for just about everyone, doesn’t it? Lara of Facibeni Fotografia explains, Palais Namaskar is the perfect place for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway in Marrakesh. The lush gardens, the Arabic architecture and the fabulous pool make it a magical place to regenerate after a busy day in the chaos of La Medina. The setting becomes even more amazing at sunset: the gold of the Palais and its warm color palette are breathtaking. It looks like living in a fairytale.

I took the bridal pictures a few hours before sunset; I wanted to take advantage of the best light of the day. I shot just in some of the hundreds of spots that one might find here; every place is spectacular, and the beauty of the model helped me to return stunning portraits. The style is sophisticated and extremely natural at the same time. The bride’s accessories were designed by an Italian goldsmith to recreate the typical shapes of Moroccan style, as well as the stationery.

The best advice I can give to all the brides-to-be who dream of Marrakech for their destination wedding is to hire a wedding planner. Her help to contact the venues and discuss the logistics is a first, significant, step to do. If your wedding planner can handle it for you, there’s no doubt that this is the easier way to organize the entire event.
