Happiest of Fridays, Cakies! This playful DIY tablescape is totally going to brighten your feed, thanks to Claudia of One Darling Day and Erin Elyse Long. Peachy spring hues, lots of citrus, and a nod to modern art all come together to create this one of a kind tablescape. And did we mention the three spring cocktail recipes the team shared too? Thanks to BKM Photography for capturing these cheerful details!
Different colors of dried palm made up the placemats and Whit Hazen created arrangements with ikebana poppies and dried florals. She also made the beeswax taper candles (shown below) herself!
Stylist Claudia of One Darling Day says, I was really inspired by artist Jen Peters. I love her use of color. It’s so fun and modern. I also love collecting bright prints for my home and I wanted the table to feel like that. Once we finalized the palette, artist Erin Elyse Long designed a print based on some of the fruit prints I like collecting.
Don’t forget, we have the scoop on all three of these colorful spring cocktail recipes LA Speakeasy whipped up, at the end of the post!
Fig et la Fromage came up with the most perfect dessert board, too. A super fun way to channel the charcuterie board idea for spring!Their colorful spring color palette: lilac, persimmon, sunbeam, blush, caramel, and cobalt.
I really wanted to bring art to my table and the things that I currently love to the table. I wanted it to feel like guests were having dinner among art. Erin created two major pieces to tie everything in, a large fruit mural and an acrylic runner with abstract fun shapes. I also really wanted to incorporate unique ceramics so I brought in talented ceramic maker Lux Eros, who creates one of kind pieces that are inspired by fashion.
Such a fun backdrop! See more colorful spring entertaining ideas in our inspiration gallery:
