We thought we’d start out the week with some lovely, dainty patterns! We got all giddy when Project Wedding asked us to do a project for their wedding guide. After brainstorming a few ideas, we decided to use materials we had on-hand…Amanda’s collection of vintage wallpaper! Read more about our ideas on how to carry this theme throughout your wedding on their website!

  34. Hi Lauren,

You can buy vintage stamps many various places. Here is a post we did on them:

And you can buy the envelopes at Paper Source

    good luck!

  35. I am completely in love with the calligraphy on the envelopes! So whimsical!! I’m totally new to this (blog commenting) but may I ask who did them (or how you did them?) I’m actually getting married in 6 months and would LOVE to incorporate this idea for our invitiations :)

  36. Love it , love it, love it!!! Love the feeling I get every time I read your blog. John and I were married 9 years ago, and just looking thru your blog captures the exact feeling I had when I stood (and paused) at the end of the aisle looking towards my future. Every detail is so thoughtful, and every moment is so special. It’s those small, sometimes insignificant details that matter the most when you look back on your special day. You all help us remember those moments. And you help future brides realize the significance of the “little details”. Keep up the great work!

    Cheers,
    Michele D

  37. Hi Sarah,

I actually used the font Burgues Script and ran the envelope through my printer. Super easy if you’re able to purchase the font and have a program to set type.

  38. Loooove the flowers! This might be a dumb question, but are there any templates/instructions for those paper flowers? I would love to incorporate this into my wedding. Please help!

    Thanks,
    Gabby

  39. So amazingly gorgeous. As if those envelopes weren’t pretty enough, you then have those flowers! I am now inspired to go hunting for vintage wallpaper :)

  40. I absolutely love this idea! I have been searching for wallpaper that go along with my wedding colors, purple and grey for a while now and have had no luck. If anyone has any ideas of where to look I would love to hear them. I have already tried all of the suggestions that have already been posted. I am not going to give up yet though because I just think this could be gorgeous!
