Very important wedding planning lesson this morning, pretties… Gorgeous venue = beautiful wedding without a ton of effort. Beltane Ranch, nestled in Sonoma Valley is one of those places. And of course Megan and Chris did an awesome job with the little details, making the whole feeling of their wedding come together nicely. They collected mason jars, clothespins, a vintage bike, vintage luggage, iron address numbers for the table numbers, and all sorts of other good rustic decors. Plus Megan really focused on using Etsy vendors whenever possible. Excellent way to avoid doing everything yourself while still getting into the handmade spirit.
That tree is killing us.
Pretty, no?

Beautiful wedding, gorgeous blog entry. Megan and Chris have exquisite taste, and it was a joy to see their vision come to fruition day-of. Simple, elegant, and not the least bit contrived, this was a true representation and celebration of an easy-spirited California couple. Desserts by Bakesale Betty!!
Beautiful venue, seems to fit them perfectly.
Did you say who did the calligraphy?
I went to a wedding at Beltane this summer and it was seriously the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to, with the best food. That tree is unbelievable.

I like the way you incorporated the period style into your wedding theme, really tied it all together. Congrats.

The calligrapher’s name Liz Merolla & the earrings are from Bloomingdales (SF store) and the bracelet is from a vintage store (was only $40).

Absolutely stunning! I love everything about your set up and decoration. This is definitely where I want to get married! Have been looking at this site for a couple years now, but I have one question. Where did your guests stay? It doesn’t look like there are many choices for lodging for other guests that are reasonable affordable and not 30-40 min away… any suggestions would be much appreciated!!
