Remember Zola and Derik’s totally mod and awesome engagement session we posted back in April? We’ll give you one guess what we have next…
Their radically vintage wedding celebration! Shot of course by Noa of Feather Love Photography.
Zola found her sweet vintage dress on Etsy, isn’t it so perfect for her? The whole thing looks like the finely yellowed pages of our parents’ wedding albums. Well done all!
Ceremony venue: Marston House, Balboa Park (in San Diego)
Reception venue: Redwood Circle, Balboa Park
Centerpieces/Terrariums: Zola. She makes them herself and sells them. As Noa pointed out on her blog, keep them in mind for holiday pressies!
See the rest of the photos on the Feather Love Photo blog.

I started humming “summertime…” looking at these photos. The living looks easy here-so beautiful. And the light! Oh! Some beautiful details and photos to match.
So cute! They have such a unique sense of style that is really charming. The flowers are amazing!
PLEASE tell us where you found the bridesmaids’ dresses–vintage? Custom?
Where can we purchase the centerpieces that Zola makes? I love them! Also, could you tell us which Etsy store she bought her wedding dress from? Thanks!
For some reason, I feel like this has Audrey Heburn written all over it!! Such a chic look and stunning photography. I can’t wait to photograph weddings like this one day!!
love this wedding, and these photos.. (it’s my 3-yr anniversary today and i’m wishing my photos turned out this well!)
wow this took my breath away… love the dress the decor and the photographer has captured it all amazingly
<3
Such a lovely wedding! The photos look so vintage. Love! Thanks for sharing!
I’m loving the bridesmaid dresses as well…please let us know where you got them!
Serious eye candy. Stunning. So many weddings these days call themselves “vintage” yet this one truly speaks from another time. And those table numbers! Love them!
I love these photos! So beautiful and a great idea for a theme! My favorites are the engagement photos – you really get a glimpse into their cool lifestyle.
a good mix of the natural, rustic, unique and elegant.
I think “vintage” captures it.
Amazing! I love everything but I especially love her dress and bridesmaid dresses. So perfect.
K, your site is amazing…just wondering if you are gonna have more resources for Mid-Western brides?
Also…when are we gonna see ideas/themes for WINTER weddings. (Not California winter weddings…like weddings where it can be 20 degrees and 6 inches of snow on the ground! lol)
Just wonderin?
Once again, you site is total eye candy.
Mouse & Michelle, Just wanted to give you a heads up that Zola will be hear soon to fill you in on all the details concerning brides and bridesmaid dresses.
Seesaw Designs: I just celebrated my 2 year today as well and thought the exact same thing. If we could do it all over. Congrats!
Jessica, we hope to show winter weddings soon.
This wedding was so dreamy, right?

You all are so sweet! In going down the list, the bridesmaids’ dresses are actually the Kate dress from J.Crew. I purchased them on eBay and paid a third of their original cost, so highly recommend doing a little searching there before paying full price. I found my dress in the Vintage Castle Etsy shop, although I don’t know how helpful that is, as B seems to mostly sell casual clothing from the 70s and 80s. Otherwise, anyone interested in purchasing terrariums can contact me at abrahm_zadok@hotmail.com. Thanks everyone!
All of the vintage details are fantastic…
Zola, i tried to search for “Vintage Castle” shop on Etsy and came up w/ nothing!
Would you happen to have a link?
nice pics!
Thanks! Seriously the best bridesmaid dresses I’ve seen yet. Great job! xo
Absolutely amazing! I love everything about our site. Very classy.
Sorry about the typing error above. Meant to write, “I love everything about Your site”.
Thanks.
Noa of Feather Love is my fave!! She’s knows that already BUT deserves to hear it again
xo.
I love the owls! Probably because I immersed myself in all things owls to design my daughter’s costume a few wks ago.
The owls are adorable! I also love the dahlias!
These photographs are so unique. I love how vintage they look, and the decor is just lovely as well.
favorite. lovely. wow!
Darling! I love the pic of the dahlias naturally laying on the wood chairs! The owls are a sweet touch too.
Hooray for Marston House weddings! I just had my wedding ceremony there at the beginning of the month, and it was perfect! I love seeing how other couples have used the garden for their ceremonies, because each one is different. We’re still waiting for our “official” photos, but there are a few from the ceremony taken by a friend that are up on my blog.
The photographer is absolutely amazing, pulling off photos that look as though they came out of my parents wedding album! Thank you for this.
