We have another super sweet Aussie wedding this week. This one took place at a gorgeous French guesthouse in the hinterland of Dalwood New South Wales. (Hinterland is such a good word. We should all try to use it a little more.) And as Chantelle said, the venue felt like a castle in the middle of nowhere: it felt special. What a lovely image.
They wanted their wedding to have a relaxed feel, more like a big family dinner. And they ended up with a tiny celebration with just their immediate family of 12. The dinner scene in Chocolat inspired the decor.
Chantelle spent her free time leading up to the wedding creating little things for the day. Things like travel packs for the guests, which included directions, beautiful French chocolate and a cd with French music for them to play leading into the location, all wrapped in brown paper & twine; sewn linen bags which enclosed the story of how we met; a blue handkerchief and a disposable Lomo camera for each couple; paper confetti, and jam which I made and placed on the table. The party had it on their croissants at breakfast the morning after.
Totally beautiful, you two! Thanks so much for sharing

wow what a beautiful wedding .. i love how her dress is so simple and non traditional .
I love the simplicity of this. Really beautiful.
I love the wedding – who made her dress?
Such a beautiful and individual wedding! I wish I knew where they got their cake serving set so that I could get it for our wedding though.
Beautiful wedding! The top photo looks like something out of a fairytale, with the trees providing an arch-like background.
the shoes are Pedro Garcia, beautiful designer in Spain..
Thanks for all the beautiful comments about our wedding! It was an amazing day. For those who have asked, my dress is by Australian designer Lisa Ho. The cake knife was actually a wedding gift by Reid’s brother. He made the knife himself which took hours leading up to the day. The cake server is by Robert Welsh. x
These are gorgeous photos. I love the soft blue color.
Absolutely beautiful wedding! Where are those shoes from?? I adore them!
Wow! These pictures look gorgeous. I love the limited use of bright colors and the vintage look to the pictures. The pictures did a great job of capturing a close knit small wedding.
I love this wedding! So beautifully timeless, sweet and chic.
Her hair is absolutely amazing.

Gorgeous – where are the lovely shoes from?
Great pictures , i really love the black and white photos of the wedding reception.
I love the suspended vases – magical!
As Mother of the Bride, I can only say that the entire day was so perfect. Reid and Chantelle were so enchanting as was the entire day. Chantelle organised it all from start to finish with so many magical touches as can be seen by the photos. It really was like something out of a Fairy Tale. Steve and I could not have been any happier or prouder as on that So Special Day. I look at those photos every single day as it fills me with so much happiness and puts so many smiles on my face. The absolute best moment of the entire day was when Chantelle and Reid said their vows to each other. Love is so grand.
Delicicosa!
Zepequeña.
what a dreamy location to get married at! And I love the vintage colors…browns…blues…soft greens…and lavender. what a smorgaspord of amazingness!
What a beautiful wedding! I really LOVE the little floral match boxes you has sitting out for the guest. Where did you find those or have those made? Most of the wedding shops only do type, but I’d love to find someone to do a full floral pattern like that for me!
