Yesterday, we gave a little sneak peek at the before and after shots of Kelly and Joseph’s wedding. Most couples only have the pleasure of creating one day of their dreams, but these two decided one wasn’t enough – so they had a ceremony in Mexico, and then one back in Portland to seal the deal.
First we’re gonna look at their Mexican wedding ON the actual Mayan Ruins, and later, we’ll show you Portland.
Kelly is a super crafter (and a photographer), so with the help of friends and family, she included some incredible little crafty details and touches like fabric corsages for the guests, rock garden centerpieces (with rocks Kelly has collected since she was six years old), a handmade cake topper and more poms than anyone would know what to do with.
During the ceremony, family members stood in a circle blessing the couple by telling stories of love and marriage. The couple also had a collaged book of love that held their rings and a single feather, which they released into the ocean following the ceremony.
How’s that for a location? So beautiful.
The heart-shaped glasses are a completely adorable touch!
Now that’s one stunning wedding. Stay tuned for Part 2 – The Oregon Wedding!

Oh what vision! The lemon parasols, the little sand glass centerpieces, the heart shaped glasses…it’s fun and whimsical but still gorgeous.
Dying over those adorable heart sunglasses! LOVE that the groom’s wearing them too!
Loving the details, esp. the feather veil and parasols!
xx
Absolutely adorable details! I’m feeling the love.
Kelly and Joseph’s are too cute! Love their Mexico wedding and I know the Portland one will be so cool too!
LOVE her dress, never seen anything like it!
who made the wedding cake topper? it’s sooo stinkin cute!
i adore the parasols. so lovely!
Shawna, me (the bride) and my maid of honor made the cake topper. I started with a vintage cake-topper, sawed off the bride and groom and put our silhouettes and ring logo (yes, weddings can have logo’s too
on it. Thanks for noticing.
this is gorgeous! i LOVE her dress. i have been looking for a blush colored wedding gown that has a little room for a baby bump and the Sarah Seven’s are perfection. Thank you so much! & congrats to the couple!

Wow, it is a beach wedding, fantastic. I was dreamy of having a beach wedding like this. This couple is so funny and lovely with the heart-shaped glasses.
Wow, two absolutely amazing weddings! What an incredible couple.
very sweet.
Ugh, the creativity is killing me. I mean it’s hard enough planning one awesome wedding, but two? Kudos to the bride and groom! I adore her Sarah Seven dress. I really want one, I’m just terrified to buy a dress I can’t try on before hand. Her’s looks great on though!
