Well, wow. We suddenly live in a very different world, don’t we? How is everyone holding up? It’s hard to know where to start or what to say but we wanted to check in and share some information we’ve found for both engaged couples looking at a postponed wedding, and vendors who depend on this work for their livelihood.
For over 10 years we have been a platform that lives for bringing people together—connecting couples and vendors, sharing your creative ideas, telling love stories, and encouraging everyone we know to spend more time with the people they love. We want all of our couples, vendors, and readers to know how much we love and support you during this uncertain time. We’ve gathered a few resources below for our engaged readers and their vendor teams, and hope you’ll let us know how else we can come together and cope as a community.

Vendors, we know that your #1 goal is always to make wedding planning a positive experience for your couples. We want you to feel supported as you guide them through this, while navigating the unknown in your own business. Now is a great time to do few things you’ve always wanted to for your websites, blogs, or even creating content. Give your website a makeover. Maybe it’s time to finally do those video tutorials you’ve been talking about for years. You are all such incredibly creative people and the world needs to see your talent and art more than ever right now.
And when you do make something just for yourself? Please let us know. This is what we’re here for. To hold you up and get your ideas out there for the world to see. Staying in could actually lead to a breakthrough in your online presence and open more doors down the road… However we can make this more positive, we will.
SO, what to do? For us here at 100LC, that means committing more than ever to being a trusted resource for everyone in the wedding industry. We have lots on the books for spring and feel very lucky to be able to share the stories of couples and hard work of vendors as the weeks go on. Aside from that, we want to elevate other community resources to reach those who need it.

Couples, you’ll see that vendors encourage rescheduling rather than canceling, even in a time as uncertain as this. It can save you money (especially if you’ve paid deposits) and allows you to support the team you’ve already chosen to bring your day to life, even if it’s down the road a bit.

It’s difficult to totally pivot from your original vision, but if there’s anything we know it’s that there is no shortage of amazing ways to have a beautiful wedding, so browse blogs and inspiration with an open mind.
