So do you do linen sheets? They’ve become a major trend over the last few years and I’ve been so curious to try them out. (This is Kristina BTW, stepping in to share my experience with them, and my master bedroom. Hi!) So when Coyuchi asked if I’d like to try out their beautiful organic linen bedding, you know I jumped at the chance. And since I’m pretty much perpetually changing up different parts of the house (anyone relate?), it seemed like a perfect excuse to add a bit of fall to our bedroom.
As you can see I like texture over color. Woods and neutrals all day long around these parts.
But about those sheets! I have always considered linen a summer fabric, I have to admit. But it turns out it’s amazing in cooler weather too. These sheets have a super cozy feel and being someone who likes to sleep with my bedroom windows open all year, even in winter, I love a warm layered bed. And I am not making this up, I have slept better since these arrived. Which may or may not be correlated but I will gladly attribute it to new linens.
Also pretty thrilled about Coyuchi‘s commitment to sustainability and low impact production practices. We try to live an environmentally conscious lifestyle in my house (except for ziplock bags, don’t judge I have three kids), and supporting businesses who share a similar mission is important to me when looking to make big purchases.
And let’s not forget one majorly important aspect of linen bedding… I love how it looks. Casual and a little chic, ya know? I feel like I’ve finally got a grown up bed situation happening and I’m pretty happy about it.
Anyone else have thoughts on linen in the bedroom? I’d love to hear how the wear long-term or what your experience has been.
Thanks for reading all of you. And thank you so much for the beautiful sheets, Coyuchi!
PS. I shared my daughter’s nursery over on 100 Layer Cakelet yesterday, if you’d like to see another room in my house.
