In case you can’t already tell from this first photo Imaj Gallery shared with us, Yuan + Renan’s bohemian wedding in Bali is juuuust the mid-week pick-me-up we were craving. It had 50 guests, an intimate, beachy vibe, and the bride even made 80 dreamcatchers to hang throughout the private villa of Villa Ombak Luwung. Take a look!
This whole ceremony setup… A dream!
Isn’t this feather flower crown so unique? Bali-based Bloomz Flowers was behind the floral design. When Yuan first chatted with the team at Hari Indah Wedding Planning & Design, she knew she wanted feathers, dream catchers, and a free spirited atmosphere.
Yuan says, My dream wedding since I was a little girl was on a beautiful beach and Bali was perfect for it, especially now that we decided to live here. The ideas for the design, as what it was in my dream, were plain colors, cream, beige, white, simply beautiful. And of course, there must be dreamcatchers, made by me, as gifts too for all the guests. It’s all for good wishes. We think we are living in the life we want exactly, feel free and full. Feathers stand for freedom, sea shells stand for nature spirit, lace stands for beauty.
Y + R actually planned their wedding for a different venue in February, but had a change of plans when when found out they were pregnant. They ended up moving the wedding to this venue and October, and Yuan crafted all the dreamcatchers while she was expecting baby. So sweet.
Just when you thought you’d seen all the surprises—imagine walking into this space. Heart eyes!
Had to include even more photos for ya in the gallery below…
