Morning guys! Are you so excited to start seeing more fall weddings here on le blog? When asked to describe their romantic wedding at JM Cellars in Washington, Yankun + Ming had three words for you: intimate, colorful, and dreamy. And as you can see in these photos by Amanda K Photography, they pulled it all off with a hint of boho and an extra dose of romance….

And aren’t these bridesmaid “bouquets” so, so unique? They really wanted their best pals to feel special on their day, too, so they made sure their details were super creative as well.

Yankun, on the proposal… We call it the ‘corgi proposal’. I am a crazy corgi lover. I have a sweet corgi back in China, and my parents are taking care of her. But every time I saw corgi here, I could not help myself stepping towards and cuddle him/her. Ming knows how much I love corgis and he prepared the proposal during our trip to Las Vegas. I did not know how he found a local corgi and let him just perfectly appear in front of the Bellagio fountains. Like always, I ran to the corgi and asked his owner if I could play with him and then I found the ring on the corgi’s bowtie. Yeah, Ming told me he was gambling while he actually went to pick up the corgi and prepared everything!

Another DIY element was their guest favors: They ordered cute packaging from Etsy and added coffee beans from the original Starbucks to them.

The bride’s planning tips:
1. Secure your vendors early! The most expensive vendor may not be the best… Source the ones that carefully listen to your thought and vision.
2. Two of you should plan the wedding together, not only the bride! 
3. Nothing will ever be perfect. Learn to compromise with the ‘good enough’ options.
