Still getting back in the swing of things after the holidays? Yeahhhh, us too. But breaking for beautiful weddings like Katy + Zach’s most certainly helps get us through the day! They welcomed 135 guests (mostly from out of town) to Blanc Denver, a modern industrial venue that allowed them to design the wedding from scratch + choose all their own vendors like Calluna Events + Lale Florals. Their ceremony technically took place in the venue’s parking lot. They got super creative with the space and it turned out just as they envisioned!
Katy explains, Our wedding style was modern chic. I wanted something very natural, simple and elegant, therefore we used a lot of natural color tones: maroon, green, pink, and white mainly. I think it represented us very well in that we don’t do everything traditionally and we are simple at heart but always enjoy dabbling into the finer things, so we thought modern chic with some simple elegance would be perfect.

We felt incredibly lucky to have James as our photographer. What a humble, genuine, fun and talented guy! He made our engagement shoot and wedding day so pleasant and seamless! He was fast too, and my husband is all about candid photos and he truly captured some of our best photos ever.
