As August comes to a close, a beautiful, relaxed, coastal wedding seems most fitting to share. Designer Cydney Morris of Stone Cold Fox and her guy Ollie met in Venice Beach while he was traveling from Australia for work. Fast forward to their Watsons Bay Hotel wedding in Sydney, and we can see just how perfectly their different coastal upbringings meshed in their vintage-inspired nuptials. Cydney, of course, designed all of her looks and the bridesmaid dresses too, many of which are now mainstays in the Stone Cold Fox bridal collection. Keep reading for more photos by Joey Willis of their wedding planned with Little Lane Events.

Cydney had a vision for her dream dress, but it wasn’t until about a month before the wedding that everything fell into place and she’d finally created *the one*. How gorgy is this look paired with an 1800s antique lace veil, btw?!

Cydney says, I knew I wanted a wedding that was a week long, with lots of festivities that allowed everyone to get to know each other. So many of our guests had not been to Australia before. It’s obviously such a special place to my husband and I and the hotel was just perfect. They have the most beautiful french doors and view of the Sydney Harbour. I had the best wedding planners from Little Lane Events and they made planning my wedding overseas so easy. I couldn’t have done it without them.

Walking down the aisle with her dad and seeing Ollie for the first time were some of her very fave moments.

I spent a lot of time on all of my looks and really drew inspiration for my dream dresses. I had bias cut floral dresses for brunches, I made a collared silk/linen dress with vintage Chanel black and gold buttons going down for my boat day. I wore an off the shoulder chiffon dress with a big vintage rose in the middle for my rehearsal dinner that we now sell as the Claudia Dress on Stone Cold Fox. I wore our (SCF) Watsons Robe to get ready in. My wedding dress was custom made with Brock Collection. My veil was an antique from the 1800’s and my second dress was a custom mini all lace, high neck dress with diamond buttons that we now sell as the Allure Dress as well. It was just so much fun to dance in. I had Manolo white slingback shoes with a big fun diamond broach on top. I took a lot of inspiration from Bardot, Claudia Schiffer in the 90’s as well as vintage Chanel designs.

Cyd’s 8 bridesmaids all wore different ivory silk designs that were made one-on-one with each person in mind. Best part? You can actually shop ALL the styles now on Stone Cold Fox, in a variety of hues.

Each guest had custom linen paper menus, and mini Casamigos tequila bottles with Cydney’s favorite love poems tied to teach. She also made the table runners and created welcome bags with half American, half Australian goodies in each.

I run an interiors business on the side called The Foxalow and my style is always very French inspired, overgrown garden and coastal beach vibes. We’re both from beach towns and wanted our wedding to feel like a glorified back yard, cozy house party. It’s just so us to have all of the white linen, overgrown flowers, beautiful view, candle lit setting and a really fun party. That’s exactly how it turned out. It was perfect and represented both of us perfectly. There was so much love in the room from our family and friends, it all came together so well.

Our views on life, love of traveling, family and like-minded attitude really brought us together instantly. I can’t imagine life without him. Even the way he proposed to me so romantic: on the beach. He had a rooftop full of my friends and family waiting to celebrate and surprise me after he popped the question. We really knew it we found ‘the one’ because we both weren’t looking for ‘the one’. We couldn’t help that all of the things we value most matched up.

All the best to C + O!
