The way Brittany described her wedding to us makes us wish we could have been a part of the whole process. A wedding with 90% of it being DIY, including those adorable floral bridesmaid dresses, made by Brittany’s mom, was sure to have a handful of fun craft nights, right? Plus, the benefit of having that much control over all the details meant she could mis-match colors, portray her artistic side (love the invitations she designed!), and have the perfect beachside, whimsical English garden inspired wedding she wanted.
Bouquet recipe: Gold painted eucalyptus, Garden Roses, Lambs Ear, Hypericum Berries, Heather, herbs, Dusty Miller.
Brittany’s sister, Heather handmade all of the jewelry that the bridesmaids wore. So pretty! We’re sure they’re really happy that they can wear their outfit + jewelry well after the wedding too.
You can see Brittany’s love for watercoloring and graphic design in all of their paper goods, like that sweet little sign guiding guests to grab a hanky for their happy tears.

A few words from Brittany: Don’t focus on details, trust me I know it’s hard not to, but in the end it won’t matter. Don’t worry about making everybody happy, worry about your own needs and what you want. Focus on your instincts and trust them; you are the bride and you should have all your dreams come true. Also, trust your wedding planner. They know exactly what they’re doing and will always have your best interest at heart. And above all…have fun!
