Philadelphia friends, have you ever been to a wedding at Terrain? Dayna + Josh fell in love with its rustic elegance, unique design (the ceremony space sure is dreamy, as you’ll see!), and reputation for amazing food. Plus, it fit their 90 guests perfectly and made for an idyllic space to say I Do. And did we already say dreamy? Petals With Style created bouquets that were heavy on the eucalyptus and wildflowers. Yes, please!Dayna says, Our wedding style was bohemian, ethereal, and elegant. The colors I gravitated toward were green, white, copper and gold. I felt it represented our mellow, relaxed personalities. See her Pinterest board here.
Gotta love a touch of glitter a la Kate Spade heels. Click here to shop ‘em!
The bride’s Blush by Hayley Paige gown from Jennifer’s Bridal had a ballgown style with several layers of tulle, a lace bodice, and open back. Dreamy.
Yep, we just knew the reception at a place like Terrain would be too pretty. Remember last time we shared a wedding in this spot?
On their photographer… I chose Lizzie of Elizabeth Moore Photography as our photographer because I loved the style of her imagery. I loved how she uses the sun/lighting in her shoots and how her photos liked airy and angelic. Once we reached out to her and talked over email, she made me feel at ease instantly and her awesome personality sealed the deal for us.
So cute!
And how fun is this cake with the first layer in sprinkles? Find more from this Terrain wedding below:
Parting words from our bride, Dayna: It took me a little over a year to plan. The biggest hurdle we faced was not letting the opinions of others sway our decisions. I would recommend to brides to be that if you face resistance against some of your planning decisions, that both you and your future spouse address the issue as a united front. My other tip is not to get caught up in the minute details of the day.
I would also suggest having an outfit to change into at your venue at the end of the night! I remember looking at pictures of my mom from her wedding and seeing her in an elegant skirt suit as her “send off” outfit. I chose to get a personalized hoodie that said “wifey” and wore it with leggings. Definitely less elegant, but spoke to my personality!
Love it! Congrats, Dayna + Josh!
