As Thanksgiving gets closer (can you smell the pie already?), all of us here at the 100LC HQ are dreaming up ways to not only set a festive autumn table, but to reimagine our classic holiday celebrations. And what better way to break the mold than with a table filled to the brim with paper flowers? Today paper flower artist The Cobra Lily + creative director Brynn of Dandy & Fine Parties are showing not one or two, but four ways to set a fall table with these incredible details. Follow along with in photos by Brady Rushing Photography below:
First things first, the team wanted to use each table setting to create a mood and set the tone for the event. With less fresh flowers in cold months, they wanted to capture that wow-factor in a new way. Each setting uses lots of the same tableware and handmade himmeli pieces by Handmade Sam^Made, so that you can be inspired for more than one of your fall tables.
Table No. 1
This setting is dark and moody, but is given a touch of femininity with the blush paper poppies and pink topped paper mushrooms. Large scale decor pieces, mixed with tall tapered candles and low sitting himmeli lend grandeur to this table and will surely wow your guests.
Table No.2
Eclectic vibes set the tone of this table. Paper succulents are mixed with feminine paper poppies and candles, high and low, are strung along the table. Ceramic quails, also by Handmade Sam^Made, garnish each guest’s place setting. There is a wild side to this setting that would be perfect for an evening dinner party in the garden.
Isn’t this neutral + gold color palette beautiful?
Table No. 3
We wanted to offer one table that set a lighter and softer mood but still with a feeling of warmth. White, gold and blush do the trick and are warmed by the walnut wood table, making this a perfectly balanced autumn or winter setting.
Table No. 4
Candles take center stage in this extra dark and moody setting, creating extra drama. The rest of the centerpiece is kept simple with black himmeli and minimal paper flowers and foliage. Guests will be delighted to find a paper flower under a mini bell jar.
Can you imagine sitting down to a table with these details? Thanks to these four below for sharing these paper flower inspired fall table ideas!
