It’s easy to think that if you go the elopement route, it means you opt out of many of the design driven details a wedding has the potential for: the epic cake, the stunning décor—but this inspiration coming to us from Gabriella of Love Records Collective and For The Good Hawaii definitely proves that an intimate affair can be just as chic… Especially when it has a tropical twist like this:
Don’t you love these invites by Margaux Paperie?
Everything took place at the beautiful Dillingham Ranch in Mokuleia, Hawaii. Obvs makes for a perfect destination wedding, but we can totally see couples recreating this scene all across the country.
From Gabriella of Love Records Collective… It was a golden summer afternoon on the island of Oahu when we captured the sweet love between Teresa and Aaron under the swaying palm trees. We were deeply inspired by the lush tropical setting, but we also wanted to push past the traditional beach wedding concept and put a spin on the shoot by adding touches of black, Eames chairs and vintage rugs as well as incorporating tropical fruit into our design. We chose the coconut groves of Dillingham Ranch as the location, which created the perfect setting for this bohemian, tropical elopement.
Gotta have those tropical vibes!
Thanks to Gabriella + the crew below for bringing Hawaii to us today…
