I am so excited to be here for the week on one of my favorite wedding blogs! This week I’ll be sharing a little but about where I am in my stage of wedding planning and the things that are inspiring me right now.
To give you a little background information, Brian and I have been engaged for almost a year and a half so far, and we’ll be getting married this July at Battery Gardens here in New York City. That means we have just a little over five months left to go, and there is plenty to do.
One of the things we’re trying to figure out right now is what Brian and the Groomsmen will be wearing. I should mention that the bridesmaids attire has been figured out for a while. They’ll be wearing Jenny Yoo’s Phoebe in Navy. And they’ll each be wearing their own, brightly colored shoes. So we need to pick out something that will complement them.
Neither one of us would consider ourselves fashionistas by any means, but we also don’t want to go the traditional black tux, colored vest and tie route either. Our wedding is a daytime ceremony so we want it to be a little less formal, and we’re not all that traditional anyway. So we’ve both been scouring the web to get ideas.
