Birdcages hung from trees, lavender, pink and vanilla roses, walking up to your reception on a black carpet, floating candles in a pool, Vera Wang, chandeliers above the dance floor, and timeless photos captured by Charlotte Jenks Lewis. Sounds glamorous and romantic. It reminds us how pretty black & white weddings can be when they’re taken out of the ballroom and placed in an intimate setting. Like Tara + Martin’s amazing backyard, where guests could feel like they were wining and dining in a magical tree house.

Such a touching moment! And that train and veil… oh Vera Wang… you get it right all the time.
Kinda does feel like a magical tree house, right?
The best advice I got came from a friend. They told me I didn’t need to hire a wedding planner, just a great florist who shared my vision and knew what they were doing. That’s how I came across Michael George. He was a pure joy to work with and created amazing arrangements!
And some classic, good old fashioned cupcakes to top it off!
Congratulations Tara + Martin!
