We love a wedding with character! With a knick here and a knack hidden in between a gold owl and some flowers. Everywhere you look, there’s something to admire in Stephanie + Steve’s wedding. Before you fall in love with all the cute odds and ends, be warned – Stephanie co-owns a vintage rental company, rightfully named, Check the Lost and Found. And when you’ve got that kind of inventory to your name, you use it! 200 mismatched plates, quirky statuettes, and vintage memorabilia was used to decorate each table. Though their venue already had a life of its own, their fun personalities added to it!
I’m lucky to have a ton of amazing musician friends. My Pankcake Breakfast bandmates played as I walked down the aisle. I’ve never been one to fantasize about my wedding, but ever since I’ve been a kid, I knew that the one thing I wanted was to walk back up the aisle to the theme from Rocky. I’m originally from Philadelphia, and that song has just always seemed so triumphant and perfect. They made it happen with a guitar, two trumpets, and drums.
Find an ornate frame, add chalkboard paint, some pretty hand lettering and you’ve got yourself a lovely reference for the days’ events instead of printing and passing out programs to every guest!
Such creative folks! They put that chandelier together last minute using sticks from the forest around their venue and christmas lights.
Such a fun, creative and colorful wedding in the woods! Congratulations Stephanie + Steve!
