We’re starting things off on a very bright, blue and orange, chevron note this week. Just like stripes and polka dots, chevron is one of those patterns that 1) you can never go wrong with, and 2) looks mighty fine on pretty paper. Those clean zig zaggy lines get us every time, so we were excited to see how Baci Designer would style this bridal shower shoot inspired by that very pattern. She enlisted the help of Arielle Doneson Photography, who agreed to shoot in film, and pretty much styled a tablescape that has us agreeing blue + orange would most def make a good fall pairing, should you want to have a little fun with your wedding colors this season.
The wooden table was topped with a hand-stitched denim runner and a guitar filled with babies breath, white peonies and orange tiger lilies, finished off with its own guitar strings as accents.
The fondant chevron striped cake and delicious desserts created by The West Side Bakery look scrumptious. The dessert table was accented with orange sodas, complete with “Drink Me” labels, “Stir Me” drink flags, melamine dishes and a platter of white mums. Finished off with a tissue-paper chevron backdrop – the dessert table was a fabulous way to end the day.
Thanks for the inspiration ladies!
