Hello lovers! Happy Valentine’s Day. Before you all get dolled up for tonight’s festivities take a peek at Susie + Jared’s totally red, totally fun San Diego wedding. There’s a bit of everything in their wedding – succulent centerpieces, a paper heart-covered aisle, a dessert table with pies for days, and bridesmaids dressed in red. So perfect for today!
I really wanted to be able to replant the centerpieces from our wedding. It was a challenge to find a florist that would use plants instead of clippings. I am so happy we found Arianne from Form and Function! She specializes in landscape design, so she knew exactly what we were looking for. We now have a living succulent wall in our back yard made up of the centerpieces from our wedding.
We both have so many amazing memories from the whole weekend! I was afraid that the wedding was going to be a whirlwind. But it wasn’t! I feel like I remember every moment, from giggling with my sisters as they walked me down the aisle, to watching Jared cry all throughout the ceremony, to the last song of the night when our friends and family covered the dance floor jumping around us as we kissed.
