We can usually predict a thing or two about a couple’s wedding style from their engagement photography. (Kinda like a sneak preview, yes?) And when we saw Gillian + David’s sweet e-sesh last holiday season, we knew their wedding would be elegant yet unfussy, wildly romantic, and full of meaningful details. Jessica Lorren Organic Photography was there again to capture it all.
Gillian says, One of the best things David and I can say about our wedding was that we could honestly call it our day. So often people call it the bride’s big day, but our wedding truly reflected our taste and style as a couple. Over the course of our nearly two-year engagement, my then-fiancé and I made almost every decision together—with the obvious exceptions of the dress, hair and makeup.
Gillian’s nude d’orsay bow pumps? They’re Valentino and they’re fabulous.
We subtly included personal details that were meaningful to us. The bridesmaids’ blue dresses and orange flowers—the only colors included in our champagne and candlelight evening—were a nod to the University of Florida, where we began our relationship (Go Gators!).
What a sweet ‘lil bunch.
That lighting is totally to-die-for.
