Heather + Hull have such style and grace. And while their wedding is as romantic as they come, they really are just a down to earth couple who love to go fishing, garden, swoon over fancy classic cars, and scour flea markets for rare antique finds. FYI, all the vases, centerpieces, table number frames and other pretty details you’ll see in a sec, came from their hunts together. But also, like a few of the couple’s we’ve featured on the blog before, they also were in the middle of buying and renovating their first home while planning a wedding. Don’t know how they did it, but photographer, Stefanie Kapra, captured it all so beautifully!
A simple, but so so beautiful bridal bouquet recipe of: white peonies and pink garden roses, love!
Here’s a nice money-saving tip for ya: We decided to get married on a Friday, which worked out perfectly since most people had a long weekend because of the Fourth of July weekend! We also decided to get ready in our own home instead of a hotel or somewhere that would cost extra money. It meant a lot more to us to be in our house which we crazily lovingly finished renovating the week before! Plus the lighting was fantastic!
A great tip if you’re thinking of having a little photo booth area set up with an instant film/polaroid camera: Our photo wall would’ve been more of a success if we had assigned someone to take the photos using the instant camera. Most people used their phone camera, so we didn’t end up getting a lot of the instant photos to put in our guest book! Also, making a sign with an Instagram hashtag for our wedding would’ve been an easy way to corral everyone’s candid photos.
Those fireworks kind of don’t look real, right? What a magical way to end the day! Congratulations Heather + Hull!
