Judging from Shaw Photo Co.’s pictures, Keri + Shawn seem like a couple we’d want to hang out with: easy going, fun loving, family oriented, and a little bit eclectic. And our suspicions about their laidback attitude were only confirmed by Keri’s tale of their bus breakdown that you’ll hear below. These two were just in it to have fun and wouldn’t let anything get in their way.
From Keri: One of my best friends and bridesmaids, Johanna, offered to do my flowers as a gift. She had worked at a florist all through high school and college and is incredible. I loved going through the process with her and her design was stunning and absolutely took my breath away. It was more than I ever imagined.
Keri’s romantic meets whimsical bouquet recipe: lisianthus, peonies, sahara roses, jade roses, spray roses, veronica, limonium, wax flower, dusty miller, and statice.
The tale of the bus breakdown… Our bus broke down after we left the ceremony and were going to take pictures. We had our whole family and wedding party aboard, and it wouldn’t start! Luckily for us our photographers double as chauffeurs, and didn’t skip a beat. We jumped in their car and the bridal party hopped in Shawn’s Aunt Bonnie’s minivan. And away we went! It was the smoothest hiccup in history, and worked out for the best since the cars had air conditioning!
