After hearing that Jacinta is a footwear buyer for Holt Renfrew in Canada, we can’t wait to see some more fashion industry folk get married! Because let us tell you, this is one of the most stylish wedding parties we’ve seen in all our years doing this blogging thing. The bride, groom, ‘maids, and ‘men are all dressed head-to-toe in designer duds, looking like they’re straight outta the pages of Vogue or GQ. The only thing prettier than the clothes might be the florals, which added an organic touch to the otherwise urban setting. Young Hearts did a great job capturing it all on camera…
Jacinta’s green + white bouquet recipe: garden roses, fully open spray roses, ranunculus, veronica, café au lait dahlias, scabiosa, astilbe, geranium, and Queen Anne’s lace.
Drooling over those Valentino pumps (similar here)!
Jacinta says, The bridesmaid dresses were the first things I bought for our wedding. The whole look and feel came together from there.
Our wedding was on the hottest day of the summer. My husband had to wipe down his face with a bandana between photos, and sweat was dripping off our priest’s nose all through the ceremony. The heat was so insane that you just had to laugh about it, and try not to move! This might have ruined the day for some brides, but I figured if this was the only thing that went wrong, then we were doing great. What a good attitude to have!
Love the swooping greenery on the back of the bride’s and groom’s chairs.
A little more from the lovely bride… Casey and I are basically your stereotypical boy and girl. Casey loves sports and I love fashion. Over the eight years we have been together, we have rubbed off on each other. Casey knows that difference between Balenciaga and Celine, and I find myself watching hockey even when he’s not home. Although in some ways we are very different, we share many interests and values including the importance of friends and family, entertaining and hosting guests, travel and great food.
I think if you were to ask any of our guests what they remember most from our wedding it would be either the crazy dance party or the extreme heat in the church. Between mine and Casey’s moms, there is always a great dance party going on. We had the best time dancing up a storm with our friends and family. By midnight, all the men—including my 62 year old dad and his college friends—had their ties around their heads dancing to Daft Punk.
