Who knew a black cake could look so pretty and so feminine? That was one of the first thoughts that came to mind when we saw this spring engagement shoot from Martina Micko Photo, Sparkles and Vintage, House of Magnolias, and Cake Bakeshop. But that wasn’t the only surprise in store… Because in fact, this adorably sweet styled shoot was really a setup for a real life proposal. Overlooking the city of L.A. in Elysian Park, nestled under a sweet little tree, alongside a small dirt path, this is where Mike popped the question to Katie!
