This engagement shoot is glitzy, glamorous, and gold—just like we like ‘em! Seventh Heaven Vintage Rentals wanted to go in a Great Gatsby direction, and Style It Photography had an industrial modern theme in mind. So, the two combined forces, and fused the two styles together for a truly unique bit of Art Deco inspo. The private estate venue offered authentic ‘30s era charm, and the artisan cocktails acted as a tasty prop throughout the engagement session.
Can’t take our eyes off the sequin linens! Sooooo sparkly…
We’re way into this color story too. Black, gold, and aqua, FTW.
Jessi from Style It Photography says, Four years ago I had an artisan cocktail created for me, which I wanted to feature in this shoot as a centerpiece throughout the engagement session. This drink is titled the Bella Flower, which means beautiful. The center of the drink consists of lavender and elderflower, along with fresh squeezed lemon juice with hints of vanilla. Made from violet petals, Creme de Yvette is located at the bottom mixed with blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries, along with an herbal flavor of cassis. The cocktail is topped off with dark rum which blends the flavors together, providing a bold caramel and molasses touch. The Cruzan black strap rum acts as a palette cleanser so that every sip tastes like the first.
