Here’s a shoot that proves you don’t have to go to France to live out your dream of a Parisian wedding (perhaps for the honeymoon though?). Photog Ashley Willis of Firm Anchor explains: We are very much inspired by the Parisian lifestyle, and this wedding pays tribute to that alluring elegance that draws us in and sweeps us up in a romance that engages all of our senses. The Parisian lifestyle tiptoes the line between elegance and decadence with great ease. When creating this look, we wanted to stay true to the Parisian nature and create a scene that feels both effortless and yet completely thought out. Setting the tone for an artistic vision, our wedding was shot at the Whiskey Row Lofts in Louisville, KY steeped in a rich history of French forefathers and artisans past.
Artwork by Katherine Jury was created to capture the Parisian romance of the day.
That hair. Trés chic!
Ashley: “Mon chéri, tu es une œuvre d’art” translates, “My darling, you’re a work of art”.
As guests move from the ceremony to the reception, they are invited to find their table as they pour themselves a drink and find their escort tag attached to their vintage teacup. Each table is numbered by the custom labeled bottle of wine waiting for the guests to enjoy upon their arrival. The table is set with fresh warm bread and authentic French cuisine with colors and textures that invite guests to enjoy a romantic evening amongst the ones they love.
A lovely Sarah Seven dress to illustrate that effortless elegance.
A sweet video by Dallas Wilson.
