R + S wanted a wedding in their fave place with their fave people, simple as that. Rebecca explains, I have this view on life that there is always more room at the table, so we went big and wanted everyone to feel at home. With a 300 person guest list, they were thrilled that their friends, owners of Rockin’ R River Rides, could accommodate their large, yet intimate wedding, right there by the river they both grew up near.

Breathtaking blooms!
So presh.
Stunning handcrafted greenery hung from the chandeliers and as garlands around the venue. Shawn’s parents hung the draping around the ceremony site, and his dad built the altar and table.
They knew the wedding’s location would be a bit unconventional, but it really made the perfect space for these two and their crew.
Rebecca says, Jen felt like an old friend who had always been a part of our big, loud crew. I loved having here there! And, she totally hit it out of the ballpark with the pictures… really… wow!
A fave moment, from the bride: We did a little group communion during our ceremony and all of our wedding party gathered in close with our officiant. This was really special to me as our friends really show us so much of Jesus and we got to honor our God right there together. It reminded me of how special these people are and how loved Shawn and I are. These people lift us up, carry us, and make us laugh so much! They’re there with bucket trucks, stringing garlands together by hand, doing hair, crying, praying, buying drinks… So much love. It moved me to get to share such a big day in my life with so many people that mean the world to me and to Shawn.
