Southern charm? Check. Anthropologie-inspired goodness? Check, check. Photographers Starling and Sage and the team below whipped up a shoot combining these two amaze wedding themes to create an event that’s classically southern with a whimsical twist. Add a woodland setting and big bunches of blooms and the result is too sweet.
Steph of Starling and Sage says, We brainstormed both themes and created a dreamy story that told a tale of peach, mint, light pastels, and soft sunshine. We created a vision in dreamcatchers, whipped up a one of a kind groom’s cake, draped a boat with a stunning floral arrangement, and a simple yet beautiful tablescape adorned with a watercolor stationery suite to die for.
They nailed it with these boho dreamcatchers by MadebybettyB on Etsy.
Being southern ladies and gents ourselves, we know that brides are always looking for some way of keeping the themes of their weddings, quintessentially Southern, but with a twist. We thought, what better than to bring in the wonderful train of style and thought that is Anthropologie, the store that has transformed their name into an adjective?
No southern wedding vignette would be complete without a focus on good food. So they setup a buffet area on a vintage canoe, custom bride + groom cocktails (Stone Mountain Sunset + Rose Sorbet), a custom groom’s cake, and more…
There’s that Anthro influenece… What a pretty setup.
Gah, those flowers!!
