Some couples are just better with a time constraint. Like Lemon Drop Love blogger Jennifer + web manager Brian, who planned their wedding in 6 months with the help of Bash, Please. They just focused on creating a fun, relaxed party with romantic details and a Mexican theme that was born of their love of entertaining with great food + cocktails. They stayed true to what they wanted as a couple because in the end, they’d get to share their personalities with 55 guests who love and support them. Thanks to Paige Jones for the photos!
Remember when we posted this image on insta? Yeah, we’re still in awe. It doesn’t get any better than Malibu Rocky Oaks for a venue.
Jennifer says, Brian and I ended up writing letters to each other instead of writing our own vows and they turned out really special. We are so happy we went this route. The letters were funny, romantic, and honest. And we were able to share a little glimpse of us as a couple, and still share our promises for the future to each other in a way that was our own.
Given the drop dead gorgeous venue, they knew their decor could be “minimal but sweet” – that meant colorful Mexican accents, romantic flower arrangements by Twig & Twine, and touches of gold.
They scored their fave restaurant Red O for the catering + bar (chef/owner Top Chef Rick Bayless). And instead of cake, they went with churros. Yum!
Have we mentioned how breathtaking Paige Jones’ photos are?!
