This styled shoot was all about the idea of paying homage to the past as well as embracing the new beginnings that uniting in love brings. Our shoot took place at Michler’s Greenhouse, a true gem in Lexington, Kentucky. This family run business has been operating since 1902 and has structures standing that are over 100 years old! With Michler’s incredible greenhouses as our backdrop, our vision of embracing history while looking to the future really came to fruition.
This lovely from Sara Seven makes a rather fitting gown for the scene, don’t you think?
Vintage + antique pieces blended with greenery and china makes quite the storybook table scape.
Erin says, Our bride’s breathtaking bouquet is made of locally grown Queen Anne’s Lace, locally grown Blueberry Juniper, local Echeveria, ‘Patience’ garden roses, and Scabiosa pods.
So many thoughtful details, like hand woven napkins, gold dipped antlers, spools, a cigar box, the list goes on…
