Not gonna lie, we have a soft spot for couples who tie the knot during Christmas. Why not make a magical season even more joyful, right? Chris + Bec decided to simply because they looove Christmas. They embraced that theme throughout, starting with their lovely UK venue, the Goodwood House, a historic building set on a 12,000 acre estate that includes catering, accommodations, and lots of room to customize. To top it all off, the bride could not be more stunning in holiday red + winter white!
Thanks to Ann-Kathrin Koch for sending these photos our way!
Chris says, From our wedding the most important thing we wanted to do was bring our two families and friends together and give them happy memories which they would hold together forever… Both Bec and I have always loved Christmas and the happiness that time of year can bring so we could not think of a better time of year to have our wedding.
What a beautiful Christmas bride!
There are many, many wedding venues we could chose from but I would be amazed if they could match the attention to detail that Goodwood gave us, they made us feel both comfortable and relaxed on the day and in the lead up to the day. We picked Goodwood House because it holds some very happy memories so this was not just any old venue, it was a beautiful venue which had meaning to us. This day would have never of ran so smoothly without the help of the Goodwood events team (Gemma Partridge Brown) and each and every one of the suppliers.
A Christmas theme meant room to get creative with lighting and décor, so they went all out with candles, gold décor, and red florals by Spriggs Petworth.
B + C found photog Ann-Kathrin on a wedding blog and felt comfortable with her from their first Skype meeting on. She knew just what memories to capture with little guidance from them, and they’re thrilled to have all those photos for years to come!
We definitely see what they mean. Congrats Bec and Chris!
