Kate of H&H Weddings is always looking to dispel stereotypes and create beautiful things in her work. She dreamed up these holiday wedding ideas out of a vision for an art deco style editorial featuring a dapper group of women enjoying a NYE happy hour. Along with Color Pop Events, she rounded up six gorgeous models + 20 vendors to show off a range of clothing styles and holiday décor to influence literally anyone looking for a little holiday inspo for their event!

With a palette of gold, emerald green, and black guiding us, we really couldn’t go wrong! We stuck with some traditional art deco elements such as the design on the cake and infusion of gold everywhere, and the bar cart, but we wanted this to feel modern too. The florals were much lusher than typical art deco décor and the graphic glassware made things current.
Showing a variety of attire was a huge focus for this shoot. They opted for this amaze silk &FORLOVE jumpsuit, a glittery emerald cocktail dress, and several takes on classic suiting in order to offer a little something for everyone.

Final words from Kate: Looking at the finished product, my favorite thing about this shoot is that you could use it for wedding inspiration or living room décor. It is so versatile and inclusive!
