Brittany met Ben during a cultural exchange program to Israel, where he’s from and was serving in the Air Force. They became best friends, fell in love, and after he discharged, he moved to the US so they could be together. Brittany told photographer Cacá Santoro that she really wanted to capture how much fun they have together as friends and life partners. Here’s how Cacá translated their love and friendship to photos…
Their cute proposal story… He proposed on the beach in Santa Monica a few days after he moved to the US. He told me to come with him to the sand to take pictures of us with the sun setting and set up his go pro to take pictures on a timer. Little did I know he was recording a video of the whole proposal! After I said yes, he said “lets get a drink to celebrate” so we went to a hotel on the water and all my family members were waiting for us there with champagne for a toast. Happiest day of my life!
Best friends for sure! Loooove this.
On their photog, Cacá Santoro Photography…
We fell in love with her right away and she was the first vendor we booked for our wedding! Our style is eclectic and creative, and that was what we loved about her and her photography style. She really understood what we were looking for in a wedding photographer.
Brittany says wedding planning is so fun and so much work… Trying to remember to enjoy the ride and to take advice from former brides, like “No one will remember the color of your napkins!” Never have I spent so much time on Pinterest, pinning my dream wedding.
Congrats, Ben and Brittany!
