It’s always fun to see couples forgo a wedding theme and just go with their gut. Jen + Rob just went with stuff they liked—that was the only requirement. It always helps when you have fab taste and an eye for design. Even better when you’re a talented illustrator like Jen—going sans theme just sort of works itself out. Thanks to photographer Rui of Love is my Favorite Color for sending us into the weekend inspired!
Love how effortless vintage looks on her.
Cuties!
A charming bouquet of peonies, chrysanthemums, and roses.
Jen says they chose Quinta do Sanguinhal for its historic beauty and how helpful their planner Ana was in dreaming up an 80-person wedding from another country.
A few vintage-inspired DIYs: They created the menus, invites, save the dates, and table numbers. They also collected all the lovely jars and vases and did the flower arrangements themselves (while Sónia Flôr took care of the bouquets + boutonnieres).
Best wishes, Rob and Jen!
