Elopement inspiration shoots are always special because you don’t have to envision how a certain scene would look on a larger scale. It’s just the bride, groom, and a few talented people there to make the day yours. In this shoot, we can totally feel the intimate vibe Lucy Munoz Photography created in the Redwoods: two people ready to tie the knot surrounded by trees, flowers, and a few beautiful added touches (read: Claire Pettibone gowns + some classy vintage décor). What else?
Hair & Makeup Yolanda gave the bride two pretty looks, this elegant updo + a tousled hairstyle with a little greenery for an earthy flair.Lucy says, We wanted to capture the essence behind the reasons we fall in love in the first place. We wanted the elopement to tell a story of how we love privately and intimately (be it through the touch of a hand, or from the way she pulls back her hair, the way he looks at you, and the way he suddenly carries you in his arms). All of this combined is how we start to put pieces of our own love puzzle together.
An old church pew from Thrifted Sister Vintage for a sense of history to coincide with the Redwoods…
Indigo & Plum rounded up a dreamy selection of peonies, hellebores, spray roses, roses, and pieris. And a cake as pretty as a dress? Sweet Layers free-handed this one with gold flowers.
