Not only do we love the major injection of color in this bridesmaids party shoot, we’re pretty smitten with the concept behind it: a bride throwing a party in honor of the girls who have done so much for her. With this for inspiration, Leah of Color Pop Events reversed the traditional bridal shower and played with the idea of best friends, color, and lots of DVF.
Thanks to Brklyn View Photography for sharing the images below!
About the DVF influence, Leah says, I wanted to pay tribute to a fashion icon, and I couldn’t think of anyone better than Diane Von Furstenberg. Her love of mixing prints and bright colors along with her message of empowering women provided the ideal inspiration for this “Thank You” dinner party thrown by a bride for her bridesmaids.
Such rad chairs.
The recent collections of DVF were the starting place for our color palette and also prompted the use of black and white prints and puzzle pieces. Puzzle pieces are a theme that we haven’t seen a lot of in events, but they are such a compelling element and fit so perfectly as a beautiful picture of how we, as women, can facilitate each other’s creativity and empower each other to become better. This theme is seen in the paper goods and the back drop.
Now THAT’s how do you a rainbow cake. Woah.

We’d love to see a bride + her ‘maids celebrate with a fun dinner party like this! Thanks to Color Pop Events and everyone below for all the colorful inspo.
