When Deidre + Alex were planning their big day, they kept finding themselves using three words: classic, romantic, fairytale. And if this Anne Barge gown is any indication of what’s to come then mission accomplished. Thanks to Emilie Anne Photography, who these two chose to document their day because her style exemplified those words too.
The bride had her Badgley Mischka pumps custom dyed for the occasion. Genius!

Deidre says, Our love and affection toward each other is very sweet, soft and lighthearted, and our style really reflected that. We are very easygoing and we made a point to enjoy the entire process and keep it simple and sweet. We went out to visit Vista West Ranch and instantly fell in love with the rustic, romantic vibe of the venue. It had this very laid back, stunning hill country vibe to it that really fit well with our style.

A bit about the year-long process, c/o our bride…
I made sure to tackle to-dos a little bit at a time while still allowing myself to take time away from planning and that really kept the entire process stress-free and fun. When it was all said and done, I wanted to look back and know I enjoyed the entire process. Our budget was $25,000 and, because we funded the wedding, it really helped keep things in perspective—I always asked myself “do I really need this?” or “would I really miss this if I didn’t have it?”.
