One of our fave backdrops for a mid-century modern wedding design is a desert landscape: browns and greens, a blank blue sky, and surprising shapes and patterns all present mid-mod at its finest. This scene by M. Felt Photography that Laura Stagg of Forevermore Events whipped up looks plucked from a retro interior and superimposed onto the desert back roads between southern Utah and Las Vegas…
How’d you like one of these Bloomers Flowers bouquets on your desk this morn?
There’s no mid-century without a bar cart, that’s for sure.
Laura says, I’ve been planning this inspiration shoot for quite some time and wanted to combine the clean lines and colorful patterns of midcentury style with the southwest style. Think Las Vegas in the 60s, or Mad Men in Palm Springs and you have our inspiration! I wanted to combine turquoise statement pieces to bring in southwest elements to the bride’s classic 1960s style, with her French twist and amazing Watters gown from BHLDN.
And Red Tie Cinematography has a little vid for ya…
Beautiful! Thanks to M. Felt Photography + and all the lovely Utah vendors below…
