When you have a Claire Pettibone gown as the subject of your editorial, you have to make sure the other deets can keep up. A venue that encapsulates the romance of the day. Textured spring bouquets that channel a vintage love story. And soft images to convey the mood. Charla Storey’s shoot has it all + that’s exactly why we’re sharing it today. Take a peek…
Photog Charla Storey says, Texas springs are filled with life! Great colors, pops of pinks, greens, and rich golden sunlight! Inspired by spring and the textures of this stunning Claire Pettibone dress, the team knew we wanted a venue that complimented that depth, with a soft color palette. Camp Lucy was perfect with the textured stone, large carved wooden doors, and the ivy covered staircase.
Each little element channeled the movement and design of the dress, from the green spring setting to the bouquets of peony, ranunculus, and garden roses that Sweet Magnolia whipped up.
Sweet Magnolia’s gorgeous and creative centerpiece stole the show, filled with pinks, peaches and flowing greenery, adding right amount of pop on the table. Silk and Willow’s hand dyed table runner brings the right amount of depth, movement and is perfect detail for a romantic dinner for two! We really wanted to leave you feeling nostalgic and ready for a sunset dinner for two in Texas hill country.
A subtly soft + soothing color palette was channeled with the glassware from The Vintage Laundry.
You guys really did leave us nostalgic and ready for a romantic eve. Thanks everyone.
