Let’s just get it out there: If you love the coast, Big Sur is one of *the most* breathtaking places to say I Do. Ever. There are sweeping ocean views in almost every scene here and R + J’s intimate, rustic theme and soft pink touches certainly made everything all the more magical. Not to mention Fondly Forever Photography’s ethereal captures. A Big Sur Affair recommended Jen because of her experience with Point 16 weddings. Just looking at her photos, they knew she was the one to capture there’s too:
Rachel tells it, Two of our best friends had custom leather kippahs made for the wedding ceremony, and we purchased little party hats for the ladies to match. We made signs for our guests and sprinkled little cards with love quotes around tables.
We’d been searching for almost a year for a place that we could picture ourselves getting married. During a spontaneous trip to Big Sur, we stumbled on Cheri and Point 16. The minute we stepped foot on the venue, we knew we were meant to get married there. The beauty and magic of this special spot took our breath away!
Aisle song: Bruce Springsteen’s If I Should Fall Behind
First dance: The National’s Slow Show
Lovely details.
Whoa. No words!
Not only is this film so sweet (their best friend and rabbi officiated the entire ceremony), McKenzie Miller brought along a drone to capture the landscape from above!
Cheers, Rachel and Jordan!
