It’s kinda amazing how well Calamigos Ranch reps Cora + David’s white + green bohemian style (which, might we add, they look stunning in. You’ll see.). But what sold them was the perfect oak tree to say I do beneath. What’s more, a talented photog friend Melissa Gayle captured every dreamy detail. Cora says, Melissa has this eye that makes every photo a story. She takes the time to get to know the bride and groom and to know what matters to them. She made this awkward bride have some frame-worthy shots!

Cora says, We are both very laid back and enjoy being in nature and gatherings with our friends and family. We wanted to combine these elements by having a space that people could enjoy the company of others whether this be by sitting on cushions under a beautiful pergola surrounded by natural crystals, or taking photos in a vintage Volkswagen bus. We wanted everyone to enjoy themselves, and be involved in the celebration.
Cora’s a furniture designer + made this rad backdrop from reclaimed wood via Stikwood. Then her and a friend calligraphed all the names on agate slices.
Although their theme was white, they wanted a pop of color, and since Cora loves shibori dyed fabric, this blue was a no brainer. (See her style on Pinterest.)

One last note: I wouldn’t know what to do if I didn’t have Vinscena of Intertwined Events’ timeline! Because she really made the planning process easy and fun I really did not have a big hurdle to overcome. Do not stress about the small things because in the end it’s the love you share with your partner that people will remember from your wedding day.
